Born and raised in Eugene, Oregon, Ryan began his career in finance before joining Gorilla Capital prior to the 2008 real estate collapse. Navigating one of the most volatile markets in modern history, he helped the firm identify opportunity amid disruption, scaling it into a national investment platform exceeding $75 million in annual revenue.

Over more than a decade, Ryan worked across acquisitions, operations, and investor relations, reporting directly to the CEO and board of directors. He later broadened his scope, consulting on business governance and operational efficiency in and outside of real estate.

Now, as a founding partner of Arbor Equity Group, Ryan structures investment opportunities that blend stability with strategic growth — reflecting his commitment to transparency, disciplined management, and aligned partnerships.
